McNair Magnet School has been awarded the:
2007 Magnet School of Distinction Award
from the Magnet Schools of America

McNair Magnet School was awarded a federal magnet grant during the 2004-2005 school year. As one of only 50 schools in the United States to be awarded this prestigious title, McNair is proud of this distinction. As a magnet school any student in Brevard County may apply to attend one of our magnets: performing arts, gifted/accelerated, math, science, & technology.

Applications for 2008 - 2009

Every 7th & 8th grader is involved with the arts in their core subjects by studying art prints, music, skits, and more. With national consultants, training sessions, and curriculum mapping teachers are using the arts to create standards based lessons.
