Mrs. Brown was named Brevard's Middle School Principal of the Year for the 2005-2006 school year! She
is in her sixth year as principal of McNair Magnet School.
Mrs. Brown is a graduate of Rockledge High School, Florida
State University (B.S.-English Education), Florida A & M
(M.Ed – Guidance & Counseling) and Nova University
(Certification in Administration & Supervision).
She attributes McNair’s “A” School
Grade to outstanding teamwork demonstrated by the students,
parents, community volunteers, teachers, and other staff
members.

Mr. Echevarria |
Born in Puerto
Rico, Mr. Echevarria received a B.A in Recreation and
Education from the University of Puerto Rico. After working
with a variety of populations leading recreational programs,
Mr. Echevarria received an M.A in Elementary Education
and later a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership
from NOVA Southeastern University in Florida. As an administrator,
Mr. Echevarria worked as a Dean of Discipline and presently
works as an Assistant Principal in charge of curriculum.

Mr. Sackey |
Mr. Sackey
has worked in the field of education for 27 years. He
graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with
a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. After
moving to Florida, he continued his education and earned
a Master’s Degree of Science in Human Resource
Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in
1985. In 1988, he obtained an Educational Specialists
Degree in Education Leadership from Nova University.
