Your dedication and committment are a huge part of our success. Many of you invest large portions of your time to projects and activities that qualify as volunteer hours. However, some of these projects are completed at home or after the front office has closed, preventing you from being acknowledged for your actual time. This web page is designed to address this!
In order to be eligible to volunteer in any capacity, you MUST have a volunteer record established in the VIPS (Volunteers In Public Schools) computer system and pass a security screening. If you previously volunteered at your child's elementary school, all we need to do is add McNair to your existing record. However, if you are new to Brevard and do not have a VIPS record established, please come into our school and we will help you enter the required demographic information. You must have a valid FL driver's license or state ID card with you, and the process takes about 15 minutes. Thank you!
Additionally, many people would like to help out, but are unsure of projects or jobs where their help is needed. As help is required, we will post it on this site, so please check back often!
